Rebuilding Biloxi: One Year After Katrina

Biloxi, Mississippi, is poised to recover faster than any other place hit by Hurricane Katrina. Casinos are fueling a building boom, but some residents are still mired in misfortune. This three-part radio series, originally broadcast August 29, 2006, on American RadioWorks for American Public Media, presents an intimate portrait of families struggling to rebuild their lives and a city trying to reclaim itself.

Visit http://americanradioworks.publicradio.org/features/biloxi/ to hear the one-hour program and to explore photographs and profiles of these families.
