Biography

Since receiving her master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1997, Lauren Thompson has produced and filmed over 60 hours of documentary television. Her work has taken her to Central America, Asia, and the Middle East, and has aired on such networks as ABC, CNN, A&E, Court TV, TLC, and Oxygen. She won two Telly awards and a Cine Golden Eagle award for television documentary hours she produced.

Fellow's Project
Chris Tetens and Lauren Thompson are producing the feature-length documentary N.O. Justice, about the failures of the New Orleans criminal justice system and the efforts of a few individuals determined to change it.
